Finding Calm In The Chaos: The Power Of Being Present

Life can get hectic, and it is easy to get caught up in our to-do lists and worries about the future or regrets of the past. We can miss out on the beauty and wonder of the present moment.

Being present is not just about being in the here and now, but it's also about taking in the beauty of nature, hearing birds sing, and feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. It's about making an effort to connect with those around you, being fully engaged in each conversation. It's important to be present in prayer in order to connect with God. Pausing to appreciate each moment can help you find peace and contentment.

However, it's often hard to slow down and be present with our busy lives, but with practice, it's possible to train our minds to focus on the present moment. To help with this practice, try limiting distractions by turning off your phone or email notifications. Make time for things you enjoy, such as reading, spending time with friends or family, etc. and take a few deep breaths or pause for a few minutes throughout the day to focus on the present moment.

When we are present in our interactions with others, nature, and in our spiritual practice, we can build deeper, more meaningful relationships. And this all ties in to setting intentions, having a purpose and connecting with God.

With practice, being present can bring a sense of peace and contentment to our lives, that can help us in all aspects.

If you find yourself struggling to be present, consider reaching out to a coach who can help you develop a practice that works for you. A coach can also provide guidance and support as you work towards being more present in your life.
